Lonsdale Bikes is a well established independent motorcycle repair centre with over 30 years experience providing a complete motorcycle repair service throughout the North of England.

The continued success of our business is largely thanks to our good working relations with some of the largest insurers in the country. This, coupled with the best skills and expertise in motorcycle repair, ensures the customer has a hassle free experience when it comes to getting their pride and joy back on the road.

Our experienced team offer a full range of plastic welding on over 90% of fairings, the use of MIG and TIG welders on steel and aluminium frames guarantees a quality repair, not replacement. Where necessary, all frames are checked using Maxton measuring equipment. All our repairs are as good as, if not better than OEM standard. We are a repairer that saves you money as we feel that a high quality repair is much better than a write-off.

Our Bodyshop benefits from low bake oven facilities combined with the use of Standox, Lechler and ICI paint systems ensuring a quality finish every time.

Our workshop is over 4000 sq feet on two levels and is capable of the throughput of an average of 10 motorcycles per week.

Level 1 comprises of

  • Offices and full motorcycle workshop facilities

Level 2 comprises of

  • full Bodyshop and paint facilities
  • new and removed parts displacement area
  • tyre change and balancing facilities
  • bead-blasting cabinet
  • lathe for one off precision engineering

Our customer service skills are second to none and we ensure that customers are kept up-to-date throughout the repair with regular contact.

We collect motorcycles from any location within the North of England, Midlands and North Wales using our fully equipped vehicle for collection and delivery.

All our workmanship is covered by a 3 year warranty.
